Why is Kingdomedia such good value?

We are a small family-run business who take on a limited amount of clients, who all use us to maintain their websites. We forge long term relationships with our clients who deal directly with us. With maintenance packages starting from only £29 per month we do offer very good value. It has been said that we don’t charge enough! Well, as any business we have to remain economically viable, but our low overheads enable us to be fair with our fees.

We do believe in community and that good websites should be affordable for community groups, such as churches, trusts, community projects, etc. However, we also believe in ethics and treating people the same way as we expect to be treated, which is why we often go the extra mile for our clients.

How do I pay for my website?

The costs are agreed prior to starting your project. You will pay 50% as a deposit when placing your order. From that point we book your project in to our workflow schedule. The remaining 50% is paid prior to launching your website.

How long will it take to build my website?

Generally, between 2 and 4 weeks. However, it depends on how big it is and we would agree a production schedule at the start.

What will you need from me?

We will take a brief from you to determine your requirements. After which we will need a draft of your content. Eg. Information ‘About’ your organisation, ‘Services’ provided, ‘Contact’ information, etc. Don’t worry, we have specialist writing skills if your text needs any TLC and we will also use this opportunity to make your content Google friendly (SEO).

Will you write the text for me?

It will require you to invest a little time in order to provide some information, however, we have experienced writers/researchers to add some marketing zest to your text.

Do we communicate throughout the website build?

Absolutely, it is a two way process, so we keep you updated, either by face to face presentations, telephone or email. Whichever is most convenient.

Who hosts my website?

We use preferred hosting providers, depending on your project. Mainly UK based, unless otherwise requested.

Will you manage my website?

Yes, our maintenance packages are very good value and our clients trust us to take care of it for them. We are always at the end of the phone or an email, and we provide a prompt response. All of our clients have maintenance contracts with us. After investing in a website, it simply makes good sense to nurture your investment.

Can I update the website myself once it’s been built?

Yes, that is an option. However, we don’t believe it makes any sense for you to make an investment in your website and then not have a maintenance plan in place. It would be like buying a new car and deciding not to get it serviced or tested. We create websites which evolve with your organisation and require the same amount of attention.

Will my website be mobile friendly?

Yes. All of our websites are fully responsive and are designed to work on multi-devices.

In short, if you have any more questions, we would be happy to discuss them with you. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
